DescriptionThe university's connection to the wider world through research, learning, teaching, and people are detailed in both institutional archives, papers detailing exploration, travel, discovery and missionary work. Collections also highlight colonial and post-colonial voices, business relationships, politics, languages and culture. Examples of collections and items within that illustrate these connections include the Laing Collection, the Christian Salvesen and co. archive, the Koestler papers, the papers of Patrick Geddes, the Scottish Council for African Questions archive, the papers of Charles Sarolea and archives of individual departments and people working internationally from the University such as Neil McCormack.
